SERIE A - AC Milan wants a new midfielder: eyes on Hector Herrera

One of the priorities of the Milan management is to further strengthen Stefano Pioli's squad with players who can be part of the Rossoneri technical project of the present and the future. And one of the areas where the Devil could intervene is the midfield.
In the last summer transfer session, in fact, Milan decided to rely on four midfielders: in addition to the Ivorian, there are Sandro Tonali, Ismaël Bennacer and Tiémoué Bakayoko in the squad, to which must be added the jolly Rade Krunić, who however Pioli seems to see more as an attacking midfielder. However, the Africans Kessié and Bennacer will be unavailable between January and February for participation in the African Cup: a reason that leads Milan to evaluate the idea of buying a new midfielder in the January transfer window.
According to El Gol Digital, Milan would have focused on a profile that they really like: that of Hector Herrera, the Mexican midfielder of Atletico Madrid who could be bought for a figure of 7 million euros. His contract with the Colchoneros will expire in 2022: on him also Celta and Valencia.
