Liverpool: Salah Signs New Contract – No Premier League Exit for Now
After months of speculation and conflicting reports, it’s now official: Mohamed Salah has renewed his contract with Liverpool. The long-running saga has come to a close with the Reds announcing the deal through an official club statement:
"Liverpool FC can confirm Mohamed Salah has signed a new contract that will see him remain with the club beyond the 2024-25 season.
The forward, who is enjoying another stellar campaign for the Reds, has committed his future by putting pen to paper on fresh terms. So far this season, Salah has scored 32 goals in just 45 appearances across all competitions – 27 of them in the Premier League – making him the top player in the English top flight. He has also provided 22 assists for his teammates.
Today’s news means Salah will extend his eight-year spell at Anfield and continue to play a key role in helping Arne Slot’s side compete for the game’s biggest honors."

The Egyptian star also shared his thoughts following the announcement:
"Of course, I’m very excited. We have a great team now. We had a great team before as well, but I’ve signed because I believe we now have a real chance to win more trophies and enjoy our football."
