Juventus are looking to strengthen their attacking options — and they want to do it fast. With the Club World Cup approaching, the Bianconeri are hoping to move swiftly during the special transfer window set between 1 and 10 June, designed specifically to allow clubs to make additions ahead of the tournament, which will be played in the United States.

Top of the shortlist is Rasmus Højlund, the former Atalanta striker currently struggling to make an impact at Manchester United.

Loan Option on the Table

With game time limited and performances below expectations, United are reportedly open to loaning out the Danish striker, born in 2003. The idea is to give Højlund the chance to rediscover confidence and form, either to sell him on a permanent basis or bring him back as a more mature and ready player.

Juventus are monitoring the situation closely and are hopeful of striking a loan deal during the brief June window. The approach mirrors PSG’s stance on Randal Kolo Muani, and in both cases, Juventus would also explore the possibility of extending the loan through the following season.

Competition for the Dane

Højlund joined Manchester United in the summer of 2023 for €70 million plus €10 million in add-ons, but he has yet to fully settle in the Premier League. Despite his potential, the door appears open for a temporary move.

According to Tuttosport, Juventus aren’t the only club showing interest. Napoli are also reportedly in the race, along with several Premier League sides, setting the stage for a competitive battle to secure the services of one of Europe's most promising young forwards.

Now it’s down to United to decide whether Højlund will get a fresh start — and whether Juventus will be the club to give it to him.
