Liverpool wants a big blow in the transfer market: Robert Lewandowski must come to Anfield to provide extra competition for Virgil van Dijk's side. The English experienced a quiet transfer period, which means that more is possible in the winter or next season.

That reports Todo Fichajes. Lewandowksi has been the undisputed attack leader at Bayern Munich for years, but would once again be looking for an adventure outside the Bundesliga. Real Madrid has been linked to the Polish goal-getter for years, but now Liverpool seems to want to make serious work of the striker. He still has a contract in Bavaria until mid-2023, which means that Der Rekordmeister can sit high in the tree with a possible transfer fee.

Incidentally, he is not the only attacker who is on Jurgen Klopp's wish list. Red Bull Salzburg striker Karim Adeyemi must already make the switch to the English port this winter. Incidentally, Bayern Munich sees him as the perfect stand-in for Lewandowski and FC Barcelona is also interested in the attacker, who gave his business card this week in the Champions League. Adeyemi was elusive against Sevilla. He was awarded no less than three penalties for fouls on him.

Klopp currently has wingers Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah, Diogo Jota, Takumi Minamino and top talent Harvey Elliott at the forefront. In rush hour, the coach can only have Roberto Firmino as a serious option. Divock Origi is still under contract with the Premier League club, but can look forward to a new club.
