PREMIER - Arsenal eyeing a move for another Real Madrid player
Real Madrid and Spain national team winger Marco Asensio is reportedly being considered as a possible transfer target for Arsenal this summer’s transfer window.
The 25-year-old forward who has been hampered with injuries in the recent campaign is not guaranteed regular first-team football under new coach Carlo Ancelotti and is therefore considering his options.
According to todofichajes, North London giants are ahead of Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur in the race for Asensio’s services. Mikel Arteta is believed to be a huge fan of his compatriot and is hopeful that the Gunners can enter talks with Real Madrid, who value the Spaniard at around £34m.
Los Blancos have given no indications to suggest they want to part ways with Spaniard this summer, though if their valuation of the player is met, then they would likely accept and put funds generated towards a new addition.
L, who has two years left on his current deal, has played 194 games across all competitions for the Los Blancos, founding back of the net 37 times and providing 22 assists.
