LIGA - Al Sadd wants €5m from Barcelona for Xavi services

© photo Daniele Mascolo/PhotoViews According to Marca, Barcelona have yet to reach an agreement with Al Sadd to bring Xavi back to Camp Nou. Several discussions have been held throughout the day on Thursday, but no resolution has been reached.
As things stand, Al Sadd believes that if Barcelona wants Xavi, they will have to pay his release clause in full, or at least a significant portion of it. All of the discussions with the club's owner have been spearheaded by Xavi, who wants Barcelona to pay €5 million to release him from his current contract.
The Catalan coach had planned to be in Galicia for Celta Vigo's match against Barcelona, but that appears unlikely at the moment.
