MLS - Dennis te Kloese departs LA Galaxy, moves to Feyenoord as CEO
Dennis te Kloese has left the LA Galaxy after three seasons as general manager to become CEO of Feyenoord in the Netherlands, according to a statement released on Saturday.
Te Kloese joined LA in December 2018, and he helped the team advance to the Audi 2019 MLS Cup Playoffs. From 2019 to 2020, they were led by Guillermo Barros Schelotto, who was replaced by Gregg Vanney last summer after previously leading Toronto FC to tremendous heights.
“We would like to thank Dennis for his contributions to the club over the last three seasons,” Galaxy president Chris Klein said in a release. “We support his decision to go back home to the Netherlands to join Feyenoord and wish him the best in his next endeavor.”
“I am truly grateful and feel very proud to have served the LA Galaxy for the last three years,” Te Kloese said in a statement. “I would like to thank the fans, players, staff and everyone who always made me, and my family, feel at home and part of the Galaxy family.
“I will take with me some great memories and I have experienced some unforgettable moments over the last years. As I prepare for my new challenge in the Netherlands, I just wanted to say thank you and wish everybody the best of luck and great success moving forward.”
