Lewandowski has dreamt of a move to Real Madrid
"We had an exclusive interview with Julian Nagelsmann on Wednesday and he said there has been rumours of Robert Lewandowski leaving Bayern Munich since he joined the club, but we also know that the player has been thinking about a move. The most important reason is that he thinks his story is finished here in Munich having won all there is to win here.
"He feels a move abroad to another league, maybe the Premier League or Spain, would be the next step. But we also know that Bayern won't want to let him go. I don't really see him leaving. Lewandowski has dreamt of a move to Real Madrid - this has always been his big dream - but on the other hand, we do know of interest from Chelsea and Manchester City.
"His agent Pini Zahavi has spoken to all the big clubs in the Premier League but Bayern know they have perhaps the world's best striker so they need him and will not let him go. He was voted the best player in the world this season and I've followed him here for a number of years here in Germany.
"He's a special player but he knows he's not getting any younger. He's 32 and has a contract for another two years, and this would be the last chance to complete a big move to another club. This is why he's trying, together with his agent, to make a move happen."
