SERIE A - A.C. Milan, Olivier Giroud has just landed in Milan
As reported by Italian journalist and transfer market expert Gianluca di Marzio, Olivier Giroud has just landed in Milan, ahead of a medical exam and to sign what is expected to be a two year deal worth up to 2M Euros.
Giroud was first expected to be in Milan last Sunday, but minor contractual details between Milan and Chelsea held up his arrival until today. He will now join the rossoneri hoping to regain the good form that he showed while at Arsenal, seen how at Chelsea he was hampered by injuries and wasn't able to contribute as much as he'd liked, playing in only 75 games since 2018 and scoring only 17 goals.
Milan, for their part, are hopeful they have finally found an experienced number 9 that will help them throughout the season and be a constant threat for opposing defenses, something they have not had since Filippo Inzaghi's retirement.
