LYON set exit fee upon loanee backliner ANDERSEN
Displaying a powerful seasonal performance for Fulham, which he's playing on a loan spell for, in spite of Cottagers having not managed to avoid relegation, Danish international centre-back Joachim Andersen is meant to keep playing into Premier League realms, ahead of next season. Turning 25 on May 31, former Sampdoria player, purchased by Olympique Lyonnais back in summer 2019, on an overall 25 million euros transfer fee, is due to beput up for sale by French giants themselves, on roughly the same trade sum.
Previously tracked hard by both Fiorentina and Torino, Andersen is now a market target for as much as six English clubs, many of which being proper A-listers: Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, Leicester City, Tottenham, and Crystal Palace. Still on a parent-club deal with Les Gones until June 2024, Andersen might have ended up staying put at Craven Cottage, if only London side succeeded in winning the stay race. Besides, more suitors might turn up and manifest after him, even from the German scene and the Spanish one.
