SERIE A - AS Roma planning to fill the gap on Zakaria
Looking hard for a new half-back pitcher, AS Roma management, according to Corriere dello Sport today edition, are growing more and more adamant over 24-year old Swiss international centre-back and defensive midfielder Denis Zakaria. While Borussia Monchengladbach are going to settle for a 20 million euros payout, ahead of letting him out, Giallorossi are so far barely offering 15 million euros; all the sides involved in the negotiation, however, look more than willing to seal the deal.
Playing for 'Gladbach since 2017/18, former Young Boys Bern player and Servette alumni is a general market target for more clubs still, including Inter Milan, Napoli, Atalanta, Liverpool, Arsenal, and Bayern Munich. Zakaria is still on a deal with Bundesliga demi-giants until June 2022, and doesn't look willing to extend for Die Fohlen.
